Send me some details to get the conversation started

I'll be in touch within a few working days by email - so double check you entered it correctly!

Here's some of the fine print

So you know what to expect when engaging me as a speaker.

I will bring all my expertise - as an educator, researcher, content expert, business owner to this speaking engagement. I will provide you with a written agreement so we are clear about who is doing what, when, and how. Here are some of things you are going to find in that agreement.

Fee: I usually charge a speaker's fee of $200 AUD per hour of teaching time. Four times a year, I offer a free one-hour online option. I use these as a way to support student organisations, maternity consumer groups, and marginalised groups operating in the no-for-profit space.

On-line events: You will be responsible to choosing a platform, set it up, and circulate the link to myself and the registrants. My preference is to have a short tech-check call the day prior to avoid last minute surprises.

Making and using recordings: This is something we will need to negotiate in advance. Please don't assume you can record the presentation and circulate it. To maintain a high-value experience for your attendees, any recording must only be accessible to people who have  registered for the event.

Marketing: I will provide you a short bio and a headshot once the details for the presentation have been agreed to. If the event is open to members of the public (rather than being limited to a workplace or educational organisation), then I am willing to circulate details of the event to people on my subscribers list, and on my socials. The success of the event will largely depend on your marketing efforts however.

Feedback: I will provide a mechanism for attendees to provide feedback on my presentation. A copy of this can be provided to you on request. You may want to also have a process for feedback. If this is the case, I would appreciate a copy of that feedback within seven days of the event.

Let's Make Maternity Care Better -  Together

Respectful, woman-centred, and evidence-based care is important to me - and I'm sure it matters to you to. When it comes to fetal heart rate monitoring practices - there is a long way to go and a lot of work to be done. Let's work together and engage with others to bring them along too.

Here's a sample of the sorts of things I write - and can speak about.
