Thursday May 21, 2026, 7 pm AEST

Feel clear, confident and safe offering intermittent auscultation in your everyday practice.

In this workshop, you will:

- Learn a clear, physiology-based approach to knowingĀ when to listen, how long to listen, and what to do next if you hear something concerning
- Build your confidence in offering intermittent auscultation as a legitimate, evidence-based choiceĀ
- Explore practical strategies to overcome common barriers to using intermittent auscultation in your local setting
- Leave with realistic, practice-focused ideas you can start usingĀ immediately

Designed for midwives, obstetric nurses and anyone else providing labour care inĀ maternity settingsĀ around the world. This workshopĀ assumes you already understand how to interpret heart rate patterns seen on CTG monitoring, and focuses on helping you apply that knowledge to intermittent auscultation. There'll be plenty of time for questions before the workshop ends.Ā
